Kensington Palace Orangery

The Orangery © Little Me Big City

The Orangery is the restaurant at Kensington Palace though you don’t have to be visiting the Palace to eat there. It is a rather formal setting, though still relaxed and children are welcome. We love that they do a children’s version of their afternoon teas as well as their usual children’s menu.

Address: The Orangery, Kensington Palace, Kensington Gardens, London, W8 4PX
Telephone: 020 3166 6113

Opening hours: Open daily, Nov-Feb 10.00-16.00, Mar-Oct 10.00-18.00
Getting there: 10 minute walk from Queensway tube station (Central line) or 15 minutes walk from High Street Kensington (District and Circle line). NB. These stations are not step-free.

Age range: Due to the more formal setting, we think it’s more suitable for children aged 5 and over

Where next? Explore Kensington Gardens! Visit the Serpentine Gallery (12 minute walk) or for small ones, the Princess Diana Memorial Playground (a 15 minute walk).
